Why do I need to confirm my email change?

Email changes require confirmation to prevent someone from hijacking your account. The change only completes after you click the confirmation button in the email sent to your new address. You will also receive a security email at your old address. If you did not request the change, reset your password right away, and if you have any problems, contact support.

Confirmation links expire for security reasons. Go back to your Profile page and repeat the email change request to receive a fresh confirmation link.
